About GO Raid Level

What is GO Raid Level?
In GO Raid, you earn contribution points (XP) by performing various actions.
When your XP reaches a certain amount, your GO Raid Level increases.
Leveling up provides the following benefits:
- Increased number of posts allowed per hour
- Ability to share high IV Pokémon sightings
- Higher chances of matching in automatic raid matching
How to raise GO Raid Level

Posting a wild Pokémon (not high IV) | +5XP |
Rating a wild Pokémon post | +1XP |
Posting Team GO Rocket encounter | +1XP |
Posting a Team GO Rocket Leader | +10XP |
Posting weather conditions | +1XP |
Posting a lure module | +1XP |
Submitting new Gym/PokéStop/Power Spot/Nest | +30XP |
Requesting a change to Gym/PokéStop/Power Spot/Nest info | +5XP |
Notes
- Duplicate posts of the same information will grant only +1 XP.
- XP for spot is granted only after the submission is approved.
- No XP is awarded if the post is made after the following time thresholds:
- Raid or weather: less than 10 minutes remaining
- Research or Rocket Leader: less than 1 hour remaining
- Nest: less than 3 hours remaining

Submission Limits for Other Categories
- Wild Pokémon posts: 5 times/hour
- Lure posts: same as Tasks (available from Lv5)
- Golden Lure notifications: 3 times/24h (available from Lv5)
- Team GO Rocket posts: same as Tasks (available from Lv5)
- Weather posts: 5 times/hour
- Route posts: same conditions as Spot submissions
